Yea the graphics were ahead of their time for 2001 and still hold up well today which is probably due to the pre-rendered backgrounds. BaldurвЂ™s Gate: Dark Alliance begins much alike an average Dungeons and Dragons game with your dumb character walking around the city of BaldurвЂ™s Gate at night and being violently mugged. Probably due to my setup, I like to sit back in my lazy armchair and play games. I know what you mean, I'm allergic to m&k unless I'm playing SimCity or AoE lol.

Just seen a few videos of the new version on youtube, with 60fps and 1080p it really looks not bad for such an old game. It has been a long time since I played it so I don't really even remember what I actually liked.
